Occasionally you may have a policy that is awaiting approval you need to you get this to your reading team as soon as possible.
You have tried chasing the approver and they are still not approving it. In this example we will use a governor. You know that this has been ratified in your governor meeting and you would like it to now to go to your reading team.
The easiest way to do this is to remove the approvers who are holding up the process.
Looking at the above example, you can see that we are waiting on 1 person (the governor) to approve the policy.
Head to your Approval Team Overview and go to Manage My Approval Team
Here, we can now remove Luke, leaving Jill as the sole approver by clicking ‘remove’ next to his name.
Do not remove those that have already accepted the policy
This will then show you that the approval is complete by giving you the following screen.
The policy is now approved and the readers have been notified by email. You can now see that the policy is awaiting reader confirmation on the dashboard.
